Following the ferocious declaration of intent laid down by 2025's "Demo MMXXV", Milan-based musician Gabriele Gramaglia offers the first full-length manifestation of LUGUBRIOUS GARMENT, "In The Wide Vale Of Uncreated Night". Known for his work with Cosmic Putrefaction, Vertebra Atlantis and numerous other entities operating within the more adventurous reaches of extreme metal, Gramaglia established LUGUBRIOUS GARMENT as an outlet for a more ravenous and instinctive strain of Death Metal; one driven by brute momentum, frenzied aggression and an uncompromising rawness. On "In The Wide Vale Of Uncreated Night" that initial impulse erupts into a considerably more formidable and fully developed beast.
While retaining the layered, multifaceted songwriting characteristic of Gramaglia's broader body of work, LUGUBRIOUS GARMENT directs that complexity toward outright pandemonium. Gritty, abrasive guitars churn through pummeling and intricate rhythmic contortions as tortured vocals howl from within the tumult and cascades of shrieking lead guitar slash across the album's fractured landscape. Yet beneath its seemingly unrestrained violence lies a meticulously engineered attack: riffs twist and collide at excessive velocity, tempos lurch between hammering force and sudden acceleration, and flashes of classic Heavy and Speed Metal emerge through the wreckage before being swallowed by the surrounding maelstrom.
"In The Wide Vale Of Uncreated Night" thrives upon this collision of precision and savagery, harnessing technical ability as another weapon in an arsenal built for maximum destructive force. LUGUBRIOUS GARMENT channels the restless imagination behind Gramaglia's other work into something noticeably more feral and antagonistic; a sustained barrage of serrated riffing, relentless battery and deranged metallic energy. HENRIK PALM - Fourth Album "Idiot Plot" coming in December 2026 via Svart Records
 Henrik Palm is one of Swedish underground music's most restless and genre-defying figures. A veteran of In Solitude and early band member of Ghost, he has spent the better part of two decades moving freely between heavy metal, post-punk, krautrock, and whatever else catches his ear. Alternating between the world of being a solo artist and an in-demand collaborator has always come naturally to him, over the years Henrik has worked with Gösta Berlings Saga, Pig Eyes, Södra Sverige, Horndal, and stepped in as a live musician for Viagra Boys and Hurula. Across the Swedish underground, when someone needs the right person for the job, Henrik Palm’s name tends to come up.
Along the way he has earned devoted fans and built a cult following that led him to being hand-picked for Tomas "Tompa" Lindberg's curated Roadburn Festival program in 2019, as well as supporting Voivod multiple times.
His solo catalogue, "Many Days" (2017), "Poverty Metal" (2020), and "Nerd Icon" (2024), maps the trajectory of an artist incapable of repeating himself. Poverty Metal earned a P3 Guld nomination for Rock/metal of the Year, further cementing his place in the Swedish underground. Each record pulls from a different corner of his infamously insatiable vinyl collection, landing somewhere between Melvins, Wipers, Black Sabbath and Voivod with an extra layer of raw, Scandinavian darkness.
"Idiot Plot", his fourth album, was born from burnout, Sunday studio sessions, and the stubborn return of joy. It is his most psychedelic and unhinged record yet, and somehow also his most direct.

Vocalist Levi comments: "'Modlitwa na Marny Czas' (eng. 'A Prayer for a Miserable Time') is a special track for me for a number of reasons. Above all, it is the first song in the Neolith’s more than thirty-five-year history to be written and performed entirely in Polish. I had long intended to tackle my native language, but it wasn't until I saw the lyrics prepared by Jacko S. that I realized the right moment had come. Although at first glance it might seem to depart from the Sumerian themes of Inbir, the song actually carries a universal message. It speaks of the first man - his pride and his age-old tendency to justify his own sins. Adam thus stands as a representative of all humanity, yet also as the cursed "bearer" of all human vileness. Hence, the wretched fate that befell both him and his work over and over again. For me, this track represents another fulfilled dream and proof that, even after so many years, Neolith is still capable of pushing its own boundaries. Whether 'Modlitwa na Marny Czas' will prove to be one of the most significant tracks in our catalogue, I leave for you to judge."
Nearly seven years after the release of "I Am the Way", NEOLITH return with their sixth full-length. It is the band's most ambitious, complex, and polished work to date, representing a clear step forward in both compositional and sonic terms.
The title "Inbir" meaning "war" in the ancient Sumerian language, defines the album's thematic direction. The material explores universal themes related to power, mystery, spirituality, and the fate of man. Musically, NEOLITH remain true to their roots, which aptly reflects the nature of this album - intense, dark, and consciously rooted in the aesthetics of old-school death/black metal.

Since the 1980s, Cleveland has always been a fertile breeding ground for great heavy metal music. Ohio-based Andrew Della Cagna continues this tradition in true style. Over the past years, the multi-instrumentalist has been active in more than half a dozen bands, among them Brimstone Coven and Icarus Witch. His main priority, however, is his own project IRONFLAME, for which he writes the music, lyrics, handles all the instruments and sings. Originally formed in 2016, IRONFLAME have released five full-length records to great critical acclaim and outstanding fan reactions.
Multi-instrumentalist Andrew Della Cagna comments: "Like all IRONFLAME albums, 'Worlds To Conquer' was recorded at my modest home studio in Ohio. The music was recorded in 2023, the lyrics in 2024 and the solos in 2025. As usual, I performed all the music and vocals myself. My live guitarists, Quinn and Jesse, composed and recorded their own guitar solos. I also handled the mixing and mastering process myself this time."

 German Death Metallers TEMPLE OF DREAD have unleashed another advance track from their new album "Dreadspawn Dominion", coming on August 7th 2026 through Testimony Records.

Guitarist Markus Bünnemeyer states: "Our single track, 'Hybrid Horde Eternal', offers an innovation as it is the first TEMPLE OF DREAD song written entirely by our singer Jens Finger. Musically, this song picks up on our trademarks but adds doom elements. The lyrics do not revolve around ancient Greek legends for a change, but we deal with an old biblical theme."
Like a mighty battle trireme, TEMPLE OF DREAD are leaving their port on the East Frisian island of Spiekeroog to deliver brutal death metal with the new massive ram bow "Dreadspawn Dominion" to all that dare to try and block their course.
Musically, TEMPLE OF DREAD remain true to their old school death metal roots but continue to expand their sonic range by further honing their cinematic aspects with even more dark and heavy elements that began to receive special attention on the previous albums "Beyond Acheron" (2023) and "God of the Godless" (2024). These veterans are making full use of their vast experience and audible confidence in their deadly craft to add true emotions into their often rather technically focussed genre.
Once again, these hardy islanders make use of classical themes from the ancient world with lyrics penned by their friend and long-time collaborator, the psychologist Frank "Doc" Albers. Followers of TEMPLE OF DREAD will recognise familiar threads, particularly the continuation of the clash between Charon, the ferryman of the souls across the River Styx and the personalised deity of the underworld, Hades.
The most obvious change that has affected TEMPLE OF DREAD between the recording of God of the Godless" and "Dreadspawn Dominion" is the addition of second guitarist Daniel Maurer and bass player Andi Bauer, who enhance the Frisian band with even more punch – both live and in studio.
With "Dreadspawn Dominion", TEMPLE OF DREAD do not just deliver about everything that their old school death metal following might desire but also invite listeners from other realms on the darker and harder side of metal to lend an ear. Listen and behold: an ancient darkness is rising to claim your souls!

KILLER – Final Album "The Grand Finale" out in September 2026 via High Roller Records – Lyric Video Premiere
 Pioneering Belgian heavy metal band KILLER were originally formed in 1980 by guitarist and singer Paul "Shorty" Van Camp and drummer "Fat" Leo (who sadly passed away on February 13th, 2026). Prior to that, both had been active in a rock/blues formation named Mothers Of Track. The classic line-up of KILLER was completed by guitarist Ivo "Spooky" Van Doren.
Heavily influenced by the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal and Motörhead, the trio quickly gained a reputation for loud and aggressive heavy/speed metal and, along with Acid and Crossfire, became one of Belgium’s most successful bands.
Signing a record deal with Mausoleum Records, KILLER issued a string of classic albums in the early eighties – "Ready For Hell" (1980), "Wall Of Sound"(1982) and "Shock Waves" (1984) – before breaking up for the first time in 1987. A few re-unions and five more albums followed, the last one being "Hellfire" on HNE in 2023.
And now it’s time for "The Grand Finale" – KILLER’s very last studio album, scheduled for September 11th 2026 via High Roller Records.
Consisting of Paul "Shorty" Van Camp (guitars/vocals), Ian Anthony (bass) and Vanne (drums), KILLER haven’t lost any of their punch. According to "Shorty" Van Camp, the album "is a dedication to Lemmy of Motörhead, who is one of our all-time heroes."
"'The Grand Finale' is a typical KILLER album," continues the guitarist and singer. "True old school metal referring back to our old days. The songs are very catchy, with strong refrains that everyone can sing along to after only a few listens. Simple but honest. And of course, flashing explosive guitar solos which are my specialty. This time I composed all music and lyrics on my own."
