SLOUGH FEG - Rejoins Cruz Del Sur Music
 San Francisco true metal troubadours SLOUGH FEG have rejoined Italy’s Cruz Del Sur Music, the label behind the band’s heralded “Atavism” (2005), “Hardworlder” (2007) and “Ape Uprising!” (2009) albums.
Comments vocalist/guitarist Mike Scalzi: “We are happy to announce that we are back with Cruz Del Sur Music and will begin recording a new album in July! We believe that a smaller ‘boutique’ label such as Cruz Del Sur is appropriate for our sound, fanbase and work ethic, and look forward to working with Enrico [Leccese] and company again.”
“I am extremely excited to have SLOUGH FEG back on Cruz Del Sur!” says Leccese. “It is always nice when bands you like track you down. It’s even more special when it’s someone you’ve worked with for about ten years and established a friendly relationship. It’s a recognition that we were doing something right in the past. I can’t wait to hear the new album and share it with the metal world.”
Continues Scalzi: “The new album will be called ‘The New Organon’, and the songs are somewhat of a return to the heavier side of our sound: more rustic, heavy, churning, medieval/Celtic and proggy sounding riffs, as opposed to the more ’70s rock sounds of more recent albums. But don’t worry: there will be a couple of rockers as well! We will also have some newer, experimental songwriting styles, mixing heavy rock and metal with the melodic sounds of ’50s and ’60s pop. Imagine DEL SHANNON singing for BLUE CHEER! After all, it wouldn’t be a SLOUGH FEG album without some bizarre surprises!

SACRED LEATHER - "Ultimate Force (Live Leather)" - video clip
 Indianapolis classic metal renegades SACRED LEATHER have released the video for “Ultimate Force (Live Leather)”, which is the title track from the band’s forthcoming self-titled debut album. The LP is set for a February 2018 release via Cruz Del Sur Music.

Filmed and edited by Parasol Photographics, “Ultimate Force (Live Leather)” was shot in Indianapolis during the first of two opening sets for NWOBHM legends DIAMOND HEAD and former MANOWAR guitarist ROSS THE BOSS. The video was directed and produced by Magnus Legrand.
Comments vocalist Wrathchild: “The title track serves as the first passage of the record ‘Ultimate Force’, which chronicles the rise of the Legion of Leather. Led by the Lost Destructor, the Legion congregate in order to harness the Ultimate Force to reign in dominancy, set to the backdrop of an apocalyptic climate.”
SACRED LEATHER was created out of necessity, summoning the spirit of heavy metal forefathers in an age mired in apostasies.
With influences evident to any heavy metal purist, SACRED LEATHER’s music seems to emerge directly from the early ’80s, mixing elegant and nostalgic hard rock/proto metal with the most belligerent side of NWOBHM.

DENY THE URGE - New album 'As Darkness Falls' - Details and first track revealed
German Death Metallers DENY THE URGE return with their third full-length! "As Darkness Falls" will be released on 1st August 2017 via G.U.C. (German Underground Crossection).
After over 10 years of band history DENY THE URGE are reinventing themselves with this new record. "As Darkness Falls", garnished with an amazing cover art created by none other than Dan Seagrave himself, is a tribute to the roughness of the 90s and at the same time does not miss the virtuosity and refinement of technical Death Metal. For the vacant place behind the drums the band recruited VADER drummer James Stewart and the album was partly recorded in England at the Grindstone Studios (Cradle Of Filth, Amon Amath, Behemoth and others). The production was handled by Jost Schlüter (pure sonic).

Chicago’s self-proclaimed “100% High-Energy Rock” band HIGH SPIRITS is pleased to announce the fourth (and final) leg of the MotivaTour, a cross-continental romp in support of its widely-acclaimed 2016 album Motivator. To further celebrate, longtime label partner High Roller Records will present a brand new HIGH SPIRITS EP entitled Escape! Norwegian Black Metallers GRAVDAL have signed to Soulseller Records!
The band’s new and third full-length album "Kadaverin" will be released on 11th August 2017 in different formats (CD, vinyl, digital).
"Kadaverin" was recorded and mixed in Mackwerk studio by Lord Bård and mastered by Herbrand Larsen at Conclave & Earshot studios. It features guest appearances from members of Satyricon, Taake, SAHG, The Ruins Of Beverast, Seven Impale and Orkan and lyrics written by V`gandr (Helheim, Taake).
