KAMPFAR - New Single 'Flammen fra Nord' & Album Pre-Order
 Norwegian Black Metallers KAMPFAR have released another new single, entitled "Flammen fra Nord".

"A horse in the distance, rider atop in lavishly coloured garb, enters the valley. He calls himself a shepherd, a collector for the ones above. Singing to himself in a foreign tongue, the calm melody betrays the fire beneath his words. He is here to save and to be saved; he is the word, and the word is him. 'Flammen fra Nord' tells this story through two voices, a story depicting the alchemic reaction that arises when the one true flame tries to replace nature's ancient fire."

DAEVA - Debut Album "Through Sheer Will And Black Magic..." via 20 Buck Spin - Details & Trackstream
 Philadelphia’s Black-Thrashers DAEVA, featuring several members of Crypt Sermon, have announced their debut full-length, entitled "Through Sheer Will And Black Magic..."!
The album will be released on October 14th 2022 via 20 Buck Spin on CD, LP, MC and digitally. It was produced, mixed and mastered by Arthur Rizk (Gravesend, Dream Unending, Eternal Champion, Power Trip, Kreator) and is garnished with a rare painting style artwork by Karmazid.

Five years on from the wantonly indecent 20 Buck Spin-released debut EP "Pulsing Dark Absorptions", Philadelphia’s DAEVA rise like blistering flames from the hellish depths with the long-smoldering first album. A fiery maelstrom of early demonic Black Metal and jagged edge Thrash convulsions forms the inherent basis of the album, where DAEVA have perfected their art like gleaming forged steel. KERBEROS - 'Murder the Immortal' - Lyric Video available
 Swiss Symphonic Death Metallers KERBEROS have revealed another song from their upcoming debut full-length, "Of Mayhem and Dismay".
"Murder the Immortal", the second single, is accompanied by a lyric video created by B2crea. Musically, the song is one of the most furious tracks on the album while being very progressive at the same time. It also features the most dense amount of singing since vocals are present almost throughout the whole song. Therefore, it seemed like the natural choice for a lyric video. The videographer (B2crea) had a great understanding for the important concepts of the song and successfully brought them to life in his video. It definitely adds to the experience of the song beyond the aspect of simply visualizing the lyrics.

"Of Mayhem and Dismay" was recorded, mixed and mastered by Christoph Brandes at Iguana Studios, Germany.

SONJA - Debut Album "Loud Arriver" via Cruz Del Sur Music - Details and Video Clip revealed
 Trad metal power trio SONJA, featuring former Absu guitarist Melissa Moore, have announced their debut full-length album!
"Loud Arriver" will be released on September 23rd 2022 via Cruz Del Sur Music. It was recorded at Creep Recording Studio in Philadelphia by Dan Kishbaugh and Arthur Rizk.

Melissa states: "Danger and Desire keep me alive. Possibly the most accurate lyric I’ve ever written. That’s how we ended up in these Nylon Nights. Cis luxuries like “safety” and “stability” have no meaning here. That numbness you feel spreading through you deeper than you thought you went? That’s not going away. That’s you now. Find us. We’ll be playing in the ruins… we are waiting"
Melissa Moore was fired from Texas black metallers Absu in 2017. When she came out as transgender to her bandmates, she figured she would have their support in this most vulnerable moment of her life. Instead, every member of Absu but one shunned her. Moore was dismissed via text message under the claim she had "fired herself" with "her decision".
Undeterred by the collapse of Absu, Moore and Absu touring drummer Grzesiek Czapla (the lone member of the band who supported her transition) set in motion to activate SONJA, a project they started in 2014. Bassist Ben Brand eventually joined the fold, cementing a three-piece lineup that eschews traditional subgenres for a nuanced, hook-laden, passionate and powerful display of heavy rock/metal.
"Loud Arriver" marks the first time that Moore has released a full-length album in ten years and also marks her debut as lead vocalist. It is a cathartic event for Moore: A lot of the music she wrote in that period is now lost due to the adverse circumstances surrounding her gender, but SONJA forged ahead. The global pandemic exacerbated the wait to release "Loud Arriver" but allowed Moore and her bandmates to put additional energy into the album under the concept of "go big or go home".
Indeed, "Loud Arriver" is stacked with big, anthemic songs fitting Moore’s impassioned vocal delivery and punctuating guitar work. Through the deft use of minor, melodic-minor and harmonic keys, Moore’s guitar-playing channels an atmosphere of urgency and abandon, reflecting the tumultuous period of her transition where hostility and fear greeted her at every corner. Moore’s lyrics delve further into these topics, addressing the period she lived her life in secret and self-suppression that led to sorrow and dissociation. And her lyrics also touch upon her desire to retaliate upon those who threaten her very existence for being transgender.

 Austrian Black Metal formation ELLENDE around mastermind L.G. have announced their seventh record and fourth full-length album. “Ellenbogengesellschaft” will be released via AOP Records on September 30th 2022.
