Intense, uncompromising, driven, spirited, relentless, honest, unique, bulletproof. Those are some of the words that have been used to describe New York hard music veterans PRO-PAIN. Since their crushing 1992 NAIRD nominated debut album "Foul Taste Of Freedom", PRO-PAIN have become a staple in the diets of heavy music listeners around the globe and have earned themselves a reputation as being one of the hardest working units in the business.
"We come from the school of hard knocks, and have had to work real hard to earn our keep" adds frontman / founder Gary Meskil. To date, PRO-PAIN have recorded and released 9 studio albums, played over 2000 gigs (spanning the course of over a decade), and have reached a level of accomplishment that far surpasses most bands in their genre. With album sales of over 600,000 worldwide, PRO-PAIN are considered by many to be one of extreme music's main components.
PRO-PAIN's latest studio album PROPHETS OF DOOM is their best to date, and contains 10 blistering tracks which encompass a level of energy and power that few others possess.
