The long awaited debut from Norwegian metallers Stonegard – reissued on Candlelight!
Produced by Daniel Bergstrand (In Flames, Meshuggah), this album is stronger than anyone had dared to hope for. The ten best songs from Stonegard’s five years as a band have been taken apart, analysed, fine-tuned, put together and built into a record that is nothing less than a revelation. An album that all at once manages to be mighty yet melodic, aggressive yet mature, complex yet
cohesive.
The initial release of this record (Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark) was followed by overwhelming reviews, and the band have been on tour non stop, supporting monster acts such as Slipknot, System Of A Down and Black Sabbath. Stonegard are already confirmed for two major festivals this summer (Download, UK, and Hultsfred Festival, SWE).
