Six years after the highly acclaimed last album "Lvcifer es", Thuringian Avantgarde Metallers FJOERGYN return with their matured sixth full-length "Judasmesse" under the new old label Trollzorn Records, right in time for their 20th anniversary. Thematically the new album is dedicated to betrayal and pays homage to its most famous protagonists. Critical, cynical and more topical than ever before, FJOERGYN ignite a firework of musical rejection and also reinvent themselves on "Judasmesse".
While the orchestral component dominated on all previous albums, the Thuringians present themselves more open to experimentation and sounds, which gives the new album an authoritative retro touch, which is rarely found in this genre. FJOERGYN are expanding their musical niche and the development suits them well. Nine opulent songs and a total playing time of almost an hour make "Judasmesse" a masterpiece that their fans had to wait a long time for.
