POWERRAGE – Debut Album "Beast" in April 2026 via High Roller Records – Single / Lyric Video Premiere
 High Roller Records proudly announces the debut album of POWERRAGE, the new band featuring former Exciter guitarist John Ricci.
"Beast" is scheduled for April 24th 2026. It was mixed and mastered by Dan Swano at Unisound and features an album artwork by Mario Lopez.
Besides Ricci, POWERRAGE consists of bassist Todd Pilon (formerly of Witchkiller), drummer Lucas Dery and last but not least vocalist Jacques Bélanger, who previously sang on the Exciter albums "The Dark Command" (1997), "Blood Of Tyrants" (2000) and "New Testament" (2004).
While Ricci and Bélanger were both members of Exciter, John wants to make one thing perfectly clear: "Well, with this band I didn’t want to be another Exciter. It was time to move on. Even though Exciter was based around my guitar style, and it was a successful formula, I wanted to start from scratch and start all over again. Starting over and not depending on your past accomplishments is definitely a very difficult task but I feel confident enough I can make it happen. I wrote everything on 'Beast': music, lyrics, melodies. POWERRAGE is 100 % my musical vision. All eight songs are brand-new, no rehashed riffs from my Exciter days."

Dark invocations and secret tongues draw forth echoes from forest and fen, cave and cliff, tempting the temporally tethered to receive the curse, all the while driven by a primal, unknowable sardonic menace.
Though the voyage be perilous, to succumb to "It Echoes In The Wild" is to become ensconced in a lawless dominion of the soul in service of a higher call. Mirroring nature’s unbridled forces and the hidden echoes that dwell within, EGREGORE’s second album takes the band’s mystical insanity and magickal perversion to the edge of the abyss and plunges forward.

ZEPTER – New Track Premiere – Debut Full-Length Album out soon on High Roller Records
 Up-and-coming Austrian Heavy Metallers ZEPTER have premiered a final advance track for their self-titled debut album, coming on February 20th 2026 via High Roller Records.

ZEPTER started in January 2024, heavily inspired by the NWOBHM. A few months later, an EP called "Inferno" was issued on cassette in a limited edition of 100 copies through Ironbound (a vinyl version on Fucking Kill Records and a CD edition via Witches Brew followed shortly after).
Guitarist/vocalist Lukas describes the debut album as "authentic heavy metal of the old school, with lots of catchy hooks and tasty twin-guitar harmony parts. It should come across like a mixture of Thin Lizzy and UFO of the Schenker era, combined with elements of early speed metal by the likes of Acid and Slayer, as if they had been already around in 1978."

 Belgian thrashers CYCLONE have revealed another song from their new mini album "Known Unto God", coming on February 6th 2026 through High Roller Records in Europe.

The roots of CYCLONE, who eventually became one of the most popular European thrash metal bands, go way back to 1981. They were originally formed in Aalst under the name of Centurion. As their music was getting harder and harder, it was decided to use a more cutting-edge moniker. A variety of demos was recorded before CYCLONE signed a deal with Roadrunner Records where they released their now legendary debut album "Brutal Destruction" in 1986. This was followed by "Inferior To None" on Justice Records in 1990. After that, the band disbanded.
Ending a long hiatus, CYCLONE decided to reform in 2018 and have appeared live regularly since then (playing on their own or at prestigious festivals like Headbangers Open Air in Germany).
Now, High Roller Records are extremely proud to present CYCLONE’s comeback mini album "Known Unto God", showcasing five brand-new compositions. The current line-up of the band consists of Maxime Deschamps (lead guitar), Jesse Van Den Bossche (rhythm guitar), Vincent Heyman (bass), Gabriel Deschamps (drums) and Guido Gevels (vocals).

 Hellishly catchy Norwegian darkness! Darkness Shall Rise Productions produly announces the new album of Norwegian Black Metal institution TULUS - "Morbid Desires" is scheduled for March 27th, 2026.
Only three years after its predecessor, the notorious three-piece is back with their eight full-length. Instead of straying from their path, "Morbid Desires" comprises nine tracks that continue the trademark TULUS sound. An abundance of hellishly catchy riffs moulded into concise mid-tempo songs performed by proficient musicians accompanied by Blodstrup’s grim vocals are still the main characteristics of TULUS.
The first single „Salme II“ is out now! "Salme II" continues the saga from TULUS much-loved track "Salme" from the album Evil 1999. Salme is a farewell psalm for The Collector, a morbid and mysterious figure of the forest. "Salme II" is an echo of his life in form of new activity in his dark cave. Torches are being quenched and relighted. The song is pure Norwegian Black Metal, brimming with dark atmosphere and pure black energy.

Formed in 2020, UNEARTHLY RITES has previously released an EP (s/t, 2021) and one full-length album ("Ecdysis", 2024), which explored dystopian visions of colonialist greed and ecocide. The forthcoming second album expands and intensifies this thematic core; "Tortural Symphony of the Flesh" presents a total meltdown of nature, humanity, and machine, and of transgression, lust and power. Musically, the album advances the band’s crushing riffs and characteristically moldy grimness toward a more malicious and brutal soundscape. UNEARTHLY RITES does not merely document the atrocities of capitalist society but explicitly calls for action in defense of nature and the rights of ethnic, gender and sexual minorities.
The band comments: “'Tortural Symphony of the Flesh' deepens our critique of capitalist oppression as a force that devastates nature through ecocide, erodes minority rights, and promotes conservationist ideology that ultimately reinforces colonialist power. Nature and humanity are inseparably fused in imagery of metal, roots, mud, flesh, and ice, forming a visceral rejection of fossil-industrial society. Queer BDSM lust and the words of William Blake are offered as an antidote to the christofascist trajectory.”
The album’s lead single "Solstice" is a song about death and returning home, a threshold passage in which life is returned to the soil through the obliteration of the ritual body in extreme winter cold. Slow heavy riffs that rip the skin, crush your bones and rot your intestines.
UNEARTHLY RITES will be promoting the upcoming album in Finland in March, followed by a release tour around Europe in April-May together with Sonic Poison delivering full speed combat grind.

KERRIGAN are one of the most promising newcomers from Germany playing traditional heavy metal. Three years after the highly acclaimed debut album "Bloodmoon", it’s time for the follow-up entitled "Wayfarer".
"Dreamy, melancholic and pretty versatile," this is how guitarist and singer Jonas Weber describes the second KERRIGAN album. For him, "Wayfarer" is more or less a direct continuation of "Bloodmoon": "Regarding the songwriting, 'Wayfarer' continues where 'Bloodmoon' has left off. The idea for the song 'Blood And Steel', for example, dates back to the mixing phase of 'Bloodmoon' at Iguana Studios, and the demo recordings of 'Surrender' and 'Wayfarer' developed parallel to the work on the first album."
"For me, the record is everything I love about bands from the eighties," adds guitarist Bruno Schotten. "Songs, that are accessible but have so many interesting details that they never get boring. We said to ourselves: maybe it’s indeed time for a modern heavy metal classic, and I do hope that with songs like 'The Ice Witch' or 'Blood And Steel' we came one step closer to our aim. Furthermore, I’d say that 'Wayfarer' is a very varied album. Apart from orthodox speed metal, you can find everything on there; even a happy, uplifting song like 'Fighter'."
