BLEAK HOUSE are a band that need no introduction to aficionados of the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal, having released two highly-regarded 7” EPs "Rainbow Warrior" (1980) and "Lions In Winter" (1982) before breaking up the following year.
After 41 years BLEAK HOUSE finally reformed for a show at Germany’s Keep It True festival in 2024 with original members vocalist Graham Shaw and guitarists Graham Killin and Bob Bonshor joined by Graham Killin’s son Sam on bass and Graham Shaw’s son Chris on drums. This line-up then ventured into the studio and, much to their fans’ delight, have recorded a stunning three-track EP. Headed up by a new song "Tyrant" the EP also features two older songs, "Arise With The Prince" and "To The Gods", live versions of which appeared on the High Roller Records’ LP "Bleak House" in 2013 and which have now been given added vitality by this current line-up.
The EP was originally released digitally by the band in February 2026, but has been remastered by Patrick W. Engel at Temple Of Disharmony, and will be issued by High Roller Records both as a 12” EP and on CD.
Recorded at London Road Studios, Baldock. Produced, engineered and mixed by Tim Kramer at Signal House Studios.
