POWERMÖNGER is the newest heavy/speed metal force to emerge from the wilds of Western Canada. Forged from a shared devotion to the glory days of heavy metal and the unrelenting assault of early speed metal, the band delivers a sound built on razor-sharp riffs, soaring vocals and breakneck energy. Drawing inspiration from legends such as Hallows Eve, Omen, Satan, Liege Lord, Nasty Savage, Razor and Whiplash, POWERMÖNGER carries the torch for true metal with fists raised high and amplifiers pushed to their limits.
Their self-titled debut EP is a declaration of intent: a barrage of steel-clad anthems crafted for the headbangers, speed freaks and metal maniacs. Combining raw aggression with unforgettable hooks, these songs capture the spirit of a time when metal was dangerous, untamed and louder than hell.
Born from the squalid and depraved streets of Western Canada, POWERMÖNGER has arrived to spread power and deal in speed. This debut release is only the beginning, with a full-length album already waiting in the wings and preparing to unleash an even greater storm upon the underground.
