ARAN ANGMAR is an international Black Metal band formed in 2020 by guitarist Stavros B.
The band's first opus "Black Cosmic Elements" including Michiel Van Der Plicht (Pestilence) behind the drums, Stavros Bonti on guitars and bass and Jesse Peetoom on vocals, was released in 2021 by Time Tombs Production and distributed by Season of Mist. The album was mixed and mastered in Rome by Giuseppe Orlando at Outersound Studios. The visual art was made by Nestor Avalos.
In 2022, with the first live appearances taking place in Italy and Germany, the band with new line-up additions Alessandro Cupici behind the drums and Simone Esperti on bass entered the studio to record the forthcoming "Atavism & Dying Stars". Hellstain Records released the album in June 2023. The band worked with Tore Stjerna (Mayhem, Watain) at Necromorbus Studio for the mixing and mastering process while the cover art of the album is a craft of Seth Siro Anton (Septicflesh).
After the release of "Atavism & Dying Stars" the band signed a new record deal with Soulseller Records. In late November the band performed for the first time in the Netherlands and took part in the Black Metal Revelation European tour with Gorgoroth, Aeternus and Impalement.
In April 2024 ARAN ANGMAR went back into the studio to record their upcoming album "Ordo Diabolicum", bringing the music to a new level. With the combination of meditteranean atmospheres and nordic folk elements the band created an own personal sound. "Ordo Diabolicum" explores darkness not as a void but as a realm where truth reveals itself, boundaries shatter, and human freedom emerges. A sonic descent where chaos reveals liberation. A Black Metal ritual. It was mixed and mastered by Psychon (Septicflesh) at Sound Abuse Production. The cover art was made by Stefan Todorovic (Khaos Diktator Designs).
In November 2024 the band joined once again Gorgoroth in the third part of the "Black Metal Revelation" tour with Mortiis.
