The black sermon has finally arrived - Swedish mourners MAJALIS's inauguration into the Gloom scene brings forth an introductory mini-CD entitled "Cathodic Black", a lengthy three-track EP that delivers a mire of somber misery and unnerving open wounds.

The dispirited souls lurking in MAJALIS are no strangers to the scene; comprising of current and former members from In Mourning and October Tide, "Cathodic Black" serves as an outlet for an even more immersed and far more atmospheric state of drone-like torment.

Biography:

Majalis started out as an afterwork side-project from Tobias Netzell and Björn Pettersson, but were laid on ice for several years. In 2012 we took time and recorded a few songs together with Jonas Martinsson and Daniel Jansson. Currently putting together a debut EP entitled "Cathodic Black" to be released by Pulverised Records.
