History:
Skellefteå 1996. A city in a time of depopulation. Everyone who lives there are vultures, looking for as fucked up jobs as possible and trying really hard to keep the silence silent. The most remarkable the city had produced at this time was Margot Wallström and Erika Norberg (Yngvie Malmsteens ex girlfriend). The Youth is occupied with drinking, ice hockey and being christian. Anyone who were different had to pay.

The hardcoreband Bitter End, from this town, had just broken up and some of the members decided to keep playing together. Not that they were that good musicians or even interested in music, it was rather the social conditions previously mentioned that kept them playing together. The thought with the new band was to scream louder and play even more raw than they did in Bitter End. They started to practice and a couple of songs started to take form, and it is more classic raw punk combined with sloppy blackmetal grinding, than the metal-hardcore that they previously have been playing. The lyrics was screamed in their mother tounge and the band took the name "Totalt Jävla Mörker". Outside of the rehearsing local an angry and lonely guy called Inge spent his time. He joined the band and they starting practice seriously and they played their first shows in the surroundings of Skellefteå.

A recording during summer 1998 ends up as a self produced seven-inch record "Då hämndens timme slår". It was pressed in 200 copies, who was almost sold out in one day. After the following the summer and autumn the band was put on hold for almost a year. Many thought that TJM had given up and splitted up, but after some really considerable pressure from the local punks and misfits TJM decide to kick-start again. A seven inch is recorded with this setup and is released 2000 by Communichaos records. The seven-inch "Industri, betong och sålda själar" sells good and the rumour starts spreading, TJM hits the roads in Sweden and Norway.

The summer of 2001 the band enters The Spiff studio in Skellefteå and records a number of songs who is at this point the most raw the band ever has created. The recording gets some attention on the radio and the band gets more gigs all around Sweden. The hype peaks at Hultsfredsfestivalen 2002 when the band plays at a full demostage with everything from swamppunks, ZTV-people to ex-Ebba Grön members in the crowd. At this point people is starting to realise that TJM is for real...

"Det ofrivilliga lidandets maskineri" album is the result of the recordings during the summer 2001. The record becomes kind of a success and is nominated best rock at P3 Guld awards and wins an award for best Hardrock/Punk at the Manifest awards.

During the summer of 2003 the band plays some festivals and a lot of new songs is written.. After an intensive week in the studio in august 2003 a monster is born.. The new record is mixed and mastered at tonteknik by Magdog Lindberg (Cult of Luna) and is named "Människans Ringa Värde".

During 2004 TJM tours Sweden and Norway with the new stuff, they play festivals and the record "Människans Ringa Värde" is another success! The record sells better and get better reviews then the previous. It´s also nominated as best "hardrock/punk album" at the manifest awards.

In the beginning of 2005 TJM is a part of the "Close-up made us do it - tour" together with The Haunted and Insision. The tour takes them through Sweden, Norway and Finland. The tour becomes a real "injection" to the guys, and new songs are starting to take form. In April TJM decides to go on a German tour, which was a real moral booster to the band

In September 2005 the new songs come alive in the studio, a pre-production of 23 song is recorded in 4 days. Together they pick out 15 songs for an upcoming album. 4 of the songs that's left over are mixed properly and is going to be released on the long planned TJM/Human waste 2x7" split. After this recording session TJM decide that they had enough of their record previous label, and signs to Regain Records for their upcoming selftitled release

Stronger then ever! TJM 2006 is revealed!
